This is madness. This is EVIL.
I felt the need to rush home and shut the door; I couldn't stand to walk down the street and see the grins of idiocy on so many faces. It was like the day after the "election" last fall, except then, people actually looked properly ashamed and did not make eye contact. Today, they looked happy, so many of them, if not perverts themselves then happy on behalf of their pervert friends and relatives. I couldn't bear to be around these people.
You know, when I walked into a restaurant today down in the dumps and about ready to jump off a cliff, most of the other customers were smiley and laughing in contrast to me. But I recognize these were not smiles of joy over the decisions: it was just the usual demeanor of low-info type people who may or may not have even heard about the USSC travesty. Many of these folks are pretty much indifferent to the whole thing ("live and let live"). This non-involvement will work to their detriment in the end, if they don't definitively choose the moral ground, but they don't realize that yet.
I didn’t even dare go to Facebook.
