Yes, everyone makes mistakes, Paula. However, not everyone calls other people “niggers.” You could have said, “I’m from a culture in which the use of ‘nigger’ is acceptable. A lot of the richest, most successful people in this country are, too: Jay-Z, Kanye West, Puff Daddy ... they all use the word every day. They’re not ashamed, and neither am I.”

I don’t associate myself with racist whites who use the N word. I don’t feel a bit sorry for her. She is in the public eye. The N word would never come out of my mouth, and I am not famous with a TV show.

The bits I’ve heard of talk radio about this appearance on the Today show are PATHETIC. Her crying and sobbing are all for herself, losing her status and fame. It reminds me of that episode in Frasier where he is pining over having been fired from his show and not rehired, and his brother “pulls off the bandaid” to stop his grovel ing by saying “frasier?. You. aren’t. famous. any more.” As frasier descends into a sobbing wail.

If Paula Deen did not understand before she uttered the N word to another person what would happen if it were found out, then she is too stupid to have a show.

Wasn’t Mark Fuhrman destroyed by the same ‘word’ at the OJ trial.?

IIRC, F. Lee. Bailey asked him the same question, ‘have you ever used the n__ word?’

This nonsense about a “WORD”, (Nigger), is way out of hand. It's just a word. Like many other words, it's HOW you use it that matters. There is NO MAGIC WORD, that if said, makes people melt. Nazi is a bad word. It's not nice to call someone a Nazi and mean it. (unless of course if they actually ARE a Nazi).

Satan is an evil word. I sometimes accuse Obama of BEING Satan. I can call him Satan and be ignored, but if I call him a Nigger, well all HELL breaks lose.

Now I have used the toxic word twice here for a reason. It is a “WORD” in the English language. We supposedly have freedom of speech.

“Congress shall make no law ........ abridging the freedom of speech”

The First Amendment to the Constitution doesn't say anything about “hate speech”, or list any words so bad that your freedom to say them is prohibited.

So before you get all bent out of shape because someone exercises their freedom of speech, go listen to ANY Rap song. (Be careful, you might just melt)

I agree. I’m so sick of all this whining and breast-beating for something someone says. So much for freedom of speech.

Has anyone seen the nannycam video of the black thug beating the shit out of the little white woman with her 3 year old watching? What was the first word you thought of when seeing this cruel spectacle? When you see such a horrible act in progress, you want to call that person the absolute worst thing you can thing of. Does that make you think everyone of that race should be referred to in such a vile way? Of course not. Paula Deen was held at gunpoint by a black man and recounting the story to her husband, use the most vile word she could think of. Why is that worse than the man holding a gun to her head, threatening to kill her? In my opinion, she never should have apologized in the freaking first place.

so it is called being polite

Hate is not of the Lord nor should it be of his children no one can judge another man’s heart like the Lord but as children of his we are suppose to Love One Another.

Romans 13:8

8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

1 John 3:23

23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

Paula Deen is a member of the liberal, progressive left.

***

Maybe not, she is just another low information voter who loved to cook and work hard pleasing those who like to eat you can see that gives her such joy.

Some just merrily flow through life until one day they get a wake up call and this was the day for Paula!

She used a lot of butter, etc. in her recipes.

I think Bloomberg put out a hit on her.

Why is it insulting to call a black person, black? Because, that’s all “nigger” means. It’s southern dialect for the spanish word nigra, meaning black.

Some people need to grow a thicker skin. Honestly, in a world of heartache and sorrow that we have going on right now, the one thing that makes it worse are those who are so sensitive that every little thing is offensive.

Quite frankly, I was offended by what was done to Paula Deen, but geeze louise, it’s not going to rule my world for crying out loud! I’ve been called whitie, whetta, and everything else under the sun including late for dinner. But what comes from a person’s mouth toward ME, says much more about him/her than it does me.

Today, someone whom I love dearly said a bunch of ugly things to me, about me. I’ve been sitting here crying all afternoon, but not because of what she said to me about me. I know better. I cried because of the ugly blackness in her heart which poured out of her mouth. She showed me who SHE was, not who I am.

Paula Deen was simply used by TPTB to set an example of how any of us can be ruined in every way imaginable for being honest, and for being white.

Our buddy the hero/traitor who fled to HongKong is showing us the other side of the same coin. What will happen to “patriots” who dare to stand up against the black hearted beast occupant of that white colored house in DC.
