I do feel for his parents, but given that homicide is the leading cause of death for young black men, they should have taken better steps to stop him from becoming a gansta punk.
IMHO, you should reconsider feeling for them. They raised him in their own image. They have behaved horrendously from the beginning. I don't even think they noticed he was missing until the following day.
I can't read their minds, but from their words and actions, their is no doubt in my mind that their main emotions regarding the death of their son were
1) Relief - They were glad that they wouldn't have to deal with this thuggish pain in the rear end son of theirs and all his problems.
2) Ecstasy! Once Crump got to them they believed they had won the lottery, and will receive great financial gain and celebrity from the death of their no-good son.
