Today, June 26th, is DAY #13 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. An explosive second day of deconstructed witness testimony took place yesterday. Which leads to the big question:
Will witness #8, Rachel Jeantel, be called to the stand today?
[Yesterday could] only be characterized as an utter debacle for the prosecution in Florida v. Zimmerman. Besides the testimony of a couple of highly professional law enforcement witnesses, the testimony of the the other State witnesses ranged from signing George Zimmermans praises, to acknowledging the utility of following a suspicious person from a distance, to being utterly discredited by razor sharp cross-examination of the defense.
Before we even get to the disaster that was the States witnesses, however, we first have to discuss this mornings hearing and the extent to which it evanescent is the States case against George Zimmerman. State: Zimmerman Is So Good, He Must Be Bad ............

Did I hear her correctly when she stated her age?
19 years old.
And do you go to school?
Yes. I gonna be in 12fth grade next year.
If you are going to do that, you need to do it at the start of the questioning and not at the end. His last question was an admission that she had previously lied under oath. And then right after he established that she is a liar, he asks her whose voice was on the recording and she says Travon. Then he doesn't even try to ask how she knows.
Her timeline is way off. It doesn’t match the NEN call.
Her 'bouncing' is what young children do when they are forced to SIT somewhere they do not want to be.
That would leave just another 140 pounds to go.
Real simple. If Trayvon was next to his dads house, why dodnt he simply go inside to safety, especially if a crazy ass cracker nigger was following him? All I can say is, this thing is literally a moron and shouldn’t a witness be of sound mind in order to testify?
yep
Maybe Rachel has had a lot of non-boyfriends die.
What gets me is....she wasn’t coached to not reveal Trayvon’s racism against Z. Guess she really IS too dumb to be coached after all.
“Defense is going to destroy her.:
How’s West? I heard him in the opening statements...I didn’t like him. The judge doesn’t seem to like him either. I do like O’Mara.
Cool. Thanks much.
Rachel (a.k.a. Dee Dee) just testified that Trayvon called George a “creep-ass white cracker.” And George is the racist?
Racist? The pot head calling the skittle black!
He is OK but I hope during the break they switch and let O’Mara do the cross - he is brilliant!
They let Hillary testify.
Yes, pray it’s Omara....
“What gets me is....she wasnt coached to not reveal Trayvons racism against Z. Guess she really IS too dumb to be coached after all.”
LOL. Either that or they had no idea Trayvon said that. She probably didn’t mention it before. They probably thought they had it made because she was last one who talked with him when phone went dead.
I hope West does a good job.
The prosecution is not as hapless as everyone here is saying. We here on FR see things differently (see 2012 election lead-up).
It’s a 6 woman jury. It’s been female after female testifying for the prosecution. Yes they are all flawed and ditzy to varying degrees. So are the members of the jury. These women on the stand are the EXACT type of woman that are on the jury. Hence they are relatable and sympathetic. They call Trayvon a boy and all point to Zimmerman as the aggressor.
It doesn’t matter that all the facts aren’t on their side.
Zimmerman is toast.
Or.... the Prosecution will say that Rachel had a complete emotional breakdown, and they will have to reschedule her cross-examination at a later date.
Ah, ha! Trayvon told her that he was almost to his dad’s fiance’s condo. WTF didn’t he just go on inside?
Because he wanted to kick that “creepy-ass white cracker’s” butt. That’s why.
Brandy said in the original interviews that he was on his back porch. Something that he left there made them think that.
