Today, June 26th, is DAY #13 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. An explosive second day of deconstructed witness testimony took place yesterday. Which leads to the big question:
Will witness #8, Rachel Jeantel, be called to the stand today?
[Yesterday could] only be characterized as an utter debacle for the prosecution in Florida v. Zimmerman. Besides the testimony of a couple of highly professional law enforcement witnesses, the testimony of the the other State witnesses ranged from signing George Zimmermans praises, to acknowledging the utility of following a suspicious person from a distance, to being utterly discredited by razor sharp cross-examination of the defense.
Before we even get to the disaster that was the States witnesses, however, we first have to discuss this mornings hearing and the extent to which it evanescent is the States case against George Zimmerman. State: Zimmerman Is So Good, He Must Be Bad ............

She was coached AND she is doing this badly? Defense is going to destroy her.
I feel sorry for the poor court reporter!
“that nigger still following me.”
Woops - he would never have made it on Food Network!!!
M correctly profiled Z as being part black.
That might be useful to the defense at closing summary argument time...
She says he made it home. This kills the prosecution, it means Martin went back and confronted Zimmerman.
Game over.
Trayvon then said “The nigger behind me”
“A couple of seconds later, Trayvon said: Oh shit! The ‘nigga’ is behind me.”
She stated TRAYVON said he was in Brandy Green’s back yard.
Can they play her deposition?
Is the jury paying attention?
Interesting. If the judge would let the defense get in an objection, it would stop the prosecutor from constantly telling her there is more to say.
Thus proving that he went BACK and confronted Z. Another epic fail for the prosecution. And the judge continues to for them....tsk tsk.
I don’t believe the last part of her testimony.
wet grass sound?
Ooops. The judge continues to cover for them (the prosecution).
“wet grass sound”
Fat neck chick heard the sound of wet grass...
Now I suspect she’s adding to the story, that Trayvon was saying “get off, get off”
She “kind of” thinks she heard that.
I think she was coached; it just didn’t do any good.
Get your popcorn out!
