Today, June 26th, is DAY #13 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. An explosive second day of deconstructed witness testimony took place yesterday. Which leads to the big question:
Will witness #8, Rachel Jeantel, be called to the stand today?
[Yesterday could] only be characterized as an utter debacle for the prosecution in Florida v. Zimmerman. Besides the testimony of a couple of highly professional law enforcement witnesses, the testimony of the the other State witnesses ranged from signing George Zimmermans praises, to acknowledging the utility of following a suspicious person from a distance, to being utterly discredited by razor sharp cross-examination of the defense.
Before we even get to the disaster that was the States witnesses, however, we first have to discuss this mornings hearing and the extent to which it evanescent is the States case against George Zimmerman. State: Zimmerman Is So Good, He Must Be Bad ............

Or break a nail !
So the State doesn’t want this witness a picture of what Saint Treyvon looked like in present day??
LOL! It may come to that. The only thing that bothers me is how pro-state/pro-Trayvon this judge appears to be. I don't trust her to rule fairly on anything at this point.
O’Mara is trying to get the 7 Eleven photo into evidence but judge and prosecutor are resisting.
A real master. Patiently pealing the onion layer by layer
Well she is basing her size judgement on an old photo. They're going to have to bring in a recent photo.
O’Mara gets Manalo to back off of her certainty as to who was top in fight.
De La Ronda is flailing about who was on top. He’s getting desperate.
Bernie: Mr Zimmerman was the bigger of the persons who were out there that night, right???
Witness: In comparison to the pictures — yes.
Good for her — she’s learning
He’s ringing the onion?
Attorney NeJame(Brighthousenetworks, News Ch13 sides with you!
>OMara is trying to get the 7 Eleven photo into evidence but judge and prosecutor are resisting.
Insanity. Pictures of the perp on the night he attacked Zimmerman are relevant. What a circus. This judge and prosecution are malicious and should be thrown out.
Every time there is a bench conference, the defense sends up one attorney and prosecution sends 2-3. Not a good image for the prosecution.
I don’t understand that “who’s on top” business. There is approximately one ton of forensic evidence to back up the claim Zimm was on the bottom, so all this line of inquiry is going to do is impeach his witness.
There are a lot of big burly men who have high voices and young teens that have deep voices. Froggy on the Little Rascals had a deep voice and he wasn't even ten yet.
I wasn’t planning on marrying her voice.
What is frustrating is that O’Mara never got the last witness to clarify who she thought was on top AFTER the gunshot. Z has already said that he ended up on top after he fired his gun. Epic fail on the defense side.
Witness just admitted that she based her interview testimony on the photographs of Trayvon Martin as a 12 year old.
Was there an exit wound in treyvon? If he was shot lying down, wouldn’t the bullet be in the ground?
