Being overrun by greedy lawyer-types in government is just another symptom. The root cause of our problems goes much deeper than that I believe.

I don't think it goes any deeper. When you have one profession essentially ruling the country, that's what you get. How about a Congress composed of fishermen, architects, bus drivers, retired baseball players, bar owners, secretaries ... well, you get the idea. Our "leaders" represent ONE line of work, the one that benefits from controversy and trauma ... SURPRISE! We have a country made of controversy and trauma.

What we all REALLY need to do is vote an end to the tyranny of the legal industry, And, yes, it IS an industry. Just like every other industry in America. Why should it be exalted above all others?
