In Jan 08 the most savvy political guy I know told me "no way the American people are going to vote in a guy named Baraq Hussein as POTUS 7 years after the 9/11 attacks.
I was thinking the same back then. I was amazed when he beat Hillary Clinton but that was the RATS and Obama had a better organization
I asked some people why they’d vote for a muslim only 7 years after 911 and was told rather forcefully that obama is not a muslim and were pissed at anyone who said he was. They were satisfied that he is a Christian. Funny thing though, both of them are atheists.
