While on a trip to Finland today, Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters that wanted NSA Leaker Edward Snowden is still in the transit area of Moscow's airport, and thus, technically not on Russian soil. He also confirmed that Russian law enforcement will not arrest him or extradite him to the United States, saying he is "a free man," but the sooner he chooses his final destination, the better.
Putin also deployed one of the better similes we've heard in a while: "In any case, I would like not to deal with such issues because it is like shearing a pig: there's lots of squealing and little fleece."

Obama and his band of Socialist Statist are a lot more danger to our freedoms, than Putin. You don't read much do you?
Sounds like ol’ Pooty-Poot knows a thing or two about shearing pigs!
Enjoy!
If there was such a thing as an International Respect Meter we are probably at the lowest point since the 1820's or 1830's.
Take that, you university dweebs. Putin is making fun of the Obama cult big time.
Yes. That's when I first asked the question "if this guy had anything of value, would the Chinese have simply let him walk away?" I don't recall which of the dozens of threads I asked that (or a very similar) question on, but it's struck me since the beginning that if Snowden had anything of real value, he'd have been "disappeared" by now.
Putin's statement this morning was (to me ...) confirmation that my original theory was correct.
So now the next question: Exactly how does the Obama Administration expect to Indict, Convict and Incarcerate Snowden on the "National Security" grounds they've been claiming?
I'd think even the low information voters would be questioning Obama and Holder on that one ....
I hoping this flushes out the real power brokers (Valerie Jarrett and friends) and causes them to say something disagreeable (and stupid) about Putin.
Obama’s handlers are going to have to up the dose of happy pills they have been giving their wimp.
There has always been a threat that the Russians would come, but I never dreamed they would come as the cavalry, so to speak. LOL
Vlad makes me smile. He has a sense of humor and is a strong leader even if he is a commie....... Wish we had a strong leader.
Don’t forget the Carter years....
Well, we got a commie, anyway.
Anyone that even remotely supports the jackass in chief is a traitor. Your remark could be construed as such.
I will enjoy my new tag line.
First off, I disagree with most politicians as they are all liars! Secondly, for you to call out my patriotism is BULLSHITTT! Anyone who exposes the blatant violation of our constitutional rights is a hero in my book! I don’t even think you know what patriotism is! Maybe you can take a course from Nancy, Chuck or McCain! Sounds like you fit right in with that crew!
Hmmmm....which side to take, the America hating communist, or Putin? Think I’ll just sit back and enjoy watching the fraud get beotchslapped.
Snowden is your “hero”? Very interesting in light of his admission that he only took the job in order to expose national security operations.
