To be more specific, theyre voting on the bill plus the Corker/Hoeven amendment. My prediction: 72 yes votes, despite the phony border-security triggers and despite the fact that the bill now reeks of Cornhusker Kickback-style buyoffs to bring fencesitting Republicans on board. No matter. Schumers goal was 70 and I expect hell get it, which will help him with his exciting new therell be mass demonstrations if the House doesnt pass this thing talking point.
Did you know that amnesty for illegals is a civil rights issue? You do now:
This has the potential of becoming the next major civil rights movement. I could envision in the late summer or early fall if Boehner tries to bottle the bill up or put something in without a path to citizenship if theres no path to citizenship, theres not a bill but if he tries to bottle it up or do things like that, I could see a million people on the Mall in Washington, Schumer said on CNNs State of the Union.
Schumer said business leaders, evangelical leaders and CEOs of high tech companies would join the public call for action by the House on immigration.
Hes kidding himself if he thinks that summer will bring pressure on the House to pass, rather than kill, the bill, but never mind that......

They are all Progressives and want to establish a caste system in what used to be the USA.
My bad. Pro-sodomy Portman voted against the fake security amendment. sorry.
Is there a list somewhere of the votes?
It certainly didn’t do them any favors when they “marched” in 2006(7?).
What they are saying is that “latinos” or “hispanics” can’t follow the laws.
I am insulted by that and so should everyone.
Senator Dan Coats of Indiana just voted NO.
Good..
Please ping me if you do find the voting list. I’ll do likewise. Thanks.
I will, but I am not aware of a single primary challenger to any of these guys. I just read that Rand Paul endorsed McConnell for 2014 and said he would not back a Tea Party challenge to McConnell. I do not believe any of these Senators think they have to worry about re-election. They seem to know we will not fire them over this.
Or is that good.. What exactly are they voting on? Cloture?
Yes but sometimes they don’t until the end. I think this may go for a roll call. We are waiting to hear how our two RINO’s have voted.
The only way I could reach anyone in the Senate today is to call the direct number to their office. The switchboard had the “all circuits are busy” recording all day.
Oh wait. 66-26 to advance the border surge ammendment and cut off debate on the bill.
From michellemalkin.com:
Here are the results of the test vote today. 14 Republicans joined the open-borders lobby to cut off debate on the Corker-Hoeven sham amnendment. Final cloture vote: 67-32.
Regroup, re-energize, and keep calling your senators and your House reps.
The 14 shamnesty Republicans:

thanx!
What about the Democrat Senators?
Did ALL Democrat Senators vote to cut off debate?
I have a vulnerable Dem in my state.. Pryor.
Just curious..
Thanks, Krispie.
Thankfully Ted Cruz is putting Conservative pressure on Cornyn
Going to send a nasty letter to Graham. I might need a good lawyer in the near future.
