The immigration debate barrels ahead in the Senate this week—and the Gang of Eight wants you to believe it’s a done deal.
The media and many Senators have been trumpeting a new amendment to the bill by Senators Bob Corker (R-TN), John Hoeven (R-ND) and Chuck Schumer (D-NY), saying it would fix the border security holes in the original legislation. But Heritage experts have explained why the amendment is deeply flawed and “does not even promise a reduction in illegal immigration.”
The new border-security language isn’t the only change. When the revised bill was released Friday afternoon, it had ballooned to 1,190 pages. Our colleagues at Heritage Action spent the weekend combing through the bill for other changes. Several sweetheart deals are included in the new bill text, such as special treatment for Alaskan seafood processing and $1.5 billion for youth job training.
Today, the U.S. Senate will vote at 5:30 p.m. to end debate. That’s typical Washington—rush to pass a bill before lawmakers can find out what is in it.

Then ya got Grahamnesty on every-other Sunday Sunday's shows where he knows he wont get questioned. He is always giving Obama friendly advice on those shows posturing to convince GOP voters that he is the ‘civil opposition’.
I think Quisling is a better comparison that Benedict Arnold. He was a general who flipped and went over to the enemy. Quislings are traitors who specifically aid an abet a foreign invasion before and during the invasion, often lying about their motives and intentions until the invasion is under way.

Accuracy in Media reports that the immigration “reform” bill includes two “slush funds” amounting to $150,000,000 that may be supplemented with additional taxpayer dollars for years to come. These funds would go to “public or private, non-profit organizations such as La Raza, Casa de Maryland, and the leftist American Immigration lawyers Association!
These, and multiple latino organizations are devoted to helping illegals apply for legal status. The bill not only provides amnesty for illegal immigrants, but does so as well for their employers.
As the conservative Center for Immigration Studies points out, “Illegal aliens will be rewarded for breaking laws for which American citizens are routinely punished” such as the use of fraudulent Social Security cards, while imposing a $1,000 penalty that “in many cases would be waived. Then they would be issued a new Social Security number without any past bad credit or arrest records.”

I wish I could scream the following from the rooftop, but do not seem to have the ability to make it widely known; “If you control the dialogue, you control the issue”.
RINO’s and libs control gained control of the issue when they, unchallenged - merged the invasion of our southern border into an immigration issue! Understand that, and we can understand how Americans have been duped. THIS WAS NEVER ABOUT IMMIGRATION, but now Obama and his predecessors, ignoring their few actual Constitutional mandates - protecting the USA borders - is magically legitimized as feel good political dogma.
For conservatives to regain the issue, we MUST regain the dialogue! This is ONLY about America being invaded by a foreign country; Mexico. Resolve this invasion alone! If people wish to tweak our immigration policy, then do so separately. Immigration is important - but totally unrelated to what’s happening on our sothern borders!
