NY Post probably has the story embargoed until they update their website...I think after midnight..
The U.S. Constitution says that Senators are elected to terms that last six years, and Representatives to terms that last two years, so recall provisions in state constitutions can’t apply to members of Congress.
Correct, and this was litigated in Idaho in 1967 when some citizens of that state attempted to recall Sen. Frank Church. The federal court shut the recall effort down.

That is correct, no U.S. senator from any state can be recalled (see my post above). State senators can be recalled, however, if their state constitution so allows.

They never have. Recall of Senators, Congressmen and the President has been a dead issue for over a hundred years.
The Senate may expel a sitting Senator with a 2/3 vote. Same for a sitting Congressman. A President much be impeached.
There are no other methods of removal available.

Being owned by Rupert Murdoch, he would have embargoed the story until amnesty passed the Senate next week. I wonder if Drudge has now forced their hand....

Constitutionally, the only ways a US Senator or Congressman can leave office is death, resignation or to be expelled by a two thirds vote or your respective house....
I thought it was pretty funny and ive been here far longer than 10 years.
