Charges have been filed in the death of a Cicero restaurant owner who was shot in the chest after he confronted a robber who was holding a gun to his wife's head near the cash register, police said this morning.
Matthew A. Brown-Turner, 25, has been charged with murder and attempted armed robbery in the fatal shooting of Giovanni Donancricchia, 64, early Thursday morning. He is due in bond court this morning.

The country will hear nothing of this hard-working, productive business owner being murdered in cold blood. Nothing. Instead we’ll be treated to more baby photos of Saint Trayvon of the Skittles.
Once St. Trayvon had made his bones with Georg Zimmerman he’d have gone into the same business a this young gentleman. It’s a bit comforting to note, however, that in FL St. Trayvon’s bones would have quit possibly been made in the course his trying this kind of income supplementation.
