SPRINGFIELD Police arrested a 20-year-old woman, a stripper who had apparently just gotten out of work early Friday, on heroin charges after the car she was riding in allegedly ran a red light at Union and Maple streets.
Since she was just coming from work at a local strip club she did not have enough clothing on to conceal the illegal narcotic, Sgt. John M. Delaney said. The officers had her step from the vehicle and the 47 bags of heroin fell easily to the pavement.

Judging By her photo, I say guilty, until her work garb is shown.

"Skankily-clad stripper" is more like it:
Maybelline called. They want their warehouse back.
Still, Laz would frisk it.

I guess those stories of Afghanistan and the heroin trade here in the US are true.

When I saw the image, I thought she was 20.... in 1996.

Poor girl. Hope she learns and moves on.

Good heavens.
20.
She’s barely not a child and her life is destroyed.
Poor thing.

My niece is a nurse in Springfield and tells us many stories about the city.Apparently it’s a lot like Detroit but without the excitement.

She was pretty at one time and somebody’s child. It is just a shame what drugs do to people. I hope she will be able to stop doing what she is doing, using or selling or whatever it is. She could clean herself up and get an education and make something of herself that she could be proud of. It is just so sad.

Wow. I suppose she looks better when the lights are dim.

She will look about the same when she is on a slab at the morgue.

She deals in poison, and destroyed plenty of other lives along with her own. Don’t waste your sympathy. She made her choice. Few things are more dangerous than a nasty little stripper dealing in heroin.

She deserves to pay for her crimes and I know that she’s hurt others, but I do pity her.
She’s very young and her life is destroyed.
But for the grace of God she could be my child - or me.
