Always-unfiltered Rep. Jim McDermott penned a letter to FBI Director Robert Mueller Wednesday claiming a Joint Terrorism Task Force ‘Faces of Global Terrorism’ ad is racist.
McDermott, a Democrat from Washington state, voiced his “deep concern” about the ad, which shows mug shots of international terrorists, and asked the FBI chief to “reconsider publicizing” it.
According to McDermott, the “ad featuring sixteen photos of wanted terrorists is not only offensive to Muslims and ethnic minorities, but it encourages racial and religious profiling.”
McDermott continued, “Representing terrorists, however, from only one ethnic or religious group, promotes stereotypes and ignores other forms of extremism. The FBI’s ‘Most Wanted Terrorists List‘ includes individuals of other races and associated with other religions and causes, but their faces are missing from this campaign.”
McDermott’s point is that two of the people on the FBI’s thirty-two person ‘Most Wanted Terrorists List’ do not have connections to Islam.
McDermott concluded that the “bus ad will likely only serve to exacerbate the disturbing trend of hate crimes against Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Muslim-Americans.”
McDermott, who has represented the Seattle area for 24 years, has a long history of unguarded commentary. In the past he has argued that victims of targeting by the Internal Revenue Service brought the trouble on themselves, that the government should issue “gas stamps” to lower-income Americans, and that the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act stimulus could be used to deliver groceries to outer space.

Stupid yes, but when you think about ALL the things coming out of the mouths of government officials it is the boldness that should make the American people want and need to revolt.
The progressives (aka people so dishonest they cannot even admit to being communists) firmly believe their time is now. Not content with a complete assimilation of the democrat party they have done an extensive encroachment into the GOP.
They have enough government employees who will be more concerned with keeping and expanding their jobs that the GOP will have a very hard time getting their vote. Anyone proposing a smaller, closer to the constitution, government will be immediately and viciously attacked by government employees, union officials and the propaganda dispensers in the MSM.
The progressives have a lock on most media so they are given so much cover they can proceed with the very few items remaining from the Communist Manifesto and if anyone is unfamiliar with that vile document, take the time to read it and see how much has already been implemented.
This guy is beyond stupid. I suppose he’d want our police to just stay in their precinct offices and wait for criminals to turn themselves in - just to avoid the possibility that our police might profile someone . . . and to prevent the public from seeing them cuff someone of a different persuasion and, heaven forbid, the public might stereotype based on seeing the arrest.

OK, Muslim terrorists are Arab men between the ages of 17-49, and this guy thinks we will make the Muslim extremests angry if we post their pictures telling the world these extremists are extremists. Meanwhile these same extremists post their own pictures with racial slurs and attacks against us. I wonder, what goes through the head of congressmen like this when they are watching the aftermath of another Muslim bombing?

Every terrorist whose picture appears on that ad wants it known that they are terrorists and what their agenda is. They are the bad apples who ruin it for any “mainstream” Muslims out there.

One, Daniel Andreas San Diego, is a leftist whacko environmentalist Animal Liberation Brigade terrorist. He is the only non-Muslim Caucasian on the list.
The other, JoAnne Deborah Chesimard, is a leftist whacko black nationalist Black Liberation Army terrorist. She is the only woman on the list.
