Mmmmmmmmmm... Foie Gras, Pate & Mousse. I have a freezer full of the containers from D’Artagnan:
don’t feel bad-I’ve yet to even see the Godfather movies....
I’m afflicted with a similar condition-go to work, go to gym, go home, go to bed. Rinse. Repeat endlessly.....
I can recommend Goodfellas, and I’m not normally into Mob movies.
Never saw Sopranos.
The Vietnamese are so right to put a smear in a sandwich.
I don’t watch movies/shows that glorify and make appear cool things like punk mafia guys, hoodrat lifestyle, vampires, queers, and forces that can conquer our country and take over the capital.
IOW, I don’t watch much.
Which reminds me.
If the foie gras is so decadent that it is causing the heart attacks, why don’t the Viets have a history of it?
Why don’t the French?
It was a really excellent series.
Mainly due to Gandolfini and his performance. His character was a thoroughly detestable human being. He stole, killed, cheated on his wife, cheated his colleagues, abused women, tortured opponents, etc. Yet Gandolfini played it in such a way that he compelled you to have sympathy for Tony. That’s a remarkable job of acting.
Rush, Imagine you pay for health insurance for 4 years, but you don’t get any coverage until after the 4 years (Obamacare).
“The Godfather” is routinely in the top 1 or 2 of all time great movies.
They make the Godfather movies look like chumps.
Will do; maybe I’ll rent them.
Very much so.
Remember when they rolled up all those NYC mafia in the first year of his presidency?
That was Chicago taking NYC turf.
Never seen any of them. I just don’t care for stuff that makes losers seem like winners. The world is upside down enough.
It doesn’t cause heart attacks. The vast majority of heart problems are hereditary, not diet-related. ‘Course, obesity etc doesn’t help any.
It’s now on my “Bucket List”.
They left off Porkys II and Attack of the Killer Tomatoes; what kind of list is that?
What about “Beach Blanket Bingo”, with Frankie & Annette?
I agree, made me look forward to Sunday nights.
I am not even sure about hereditary.
I have seen identical twins where one has a heart attack at 57 and is dead from heart disease at 62 and the other dies of respiratory failure at 76.
Both non smokers and non drinkers and extremely athletic, even running marathons in their 50’s.
Go figure?
