That is why people aren’t delivered from alcoholism and drug addiction. Only the blood of Jesus break the demonic hold on these people.

When a person has reached a point in their addiction where they only have two choices in life... either get help or die...AA “delivers” people from alcohol and drug addiction on a VERY regular basis. Is it always successful? No. Is it a permanent delivery? Sometimes, no; many times, yes. Does it cure the underlying “disease”? No. But, AA does help people to break the addiction which then allows them to, hopefully, move on to a better way of life.
