Interesting commentary by J. Christian Adams. However, we still have registration at the polls in WI (and several other states) and there is no time for double and triple checking. Our “citizenship check” is a tiny dot that the registrant must fill in. Even the clerks registering the new voters frequently miss this when the polls are busy. No other proof is required. More’s the pity.
