Yeah but these “Let’s cut California Loose” jerks don’t have the intellect to understand the demographics here. For that matter it holds the same in the so-called “blue states,” it’s just that their $h!t Hole “cities” haven’t yet become an overriding factor in their elections, but sooner or later they will. The only reason that Utah is dark blue is that they only have one big city. In Utah the only sheriff that didn’t sign on with the other 27 to uphold the 2A was the a$$hole from Salt Lake County.

The Earl Warren lead SCOTUS some 60 years ago helped the current rip-off of rural Americans representation become a horrible reality. The "Cows Don't Vote" decision just wiped out the check and balance between the rural and metro demography of our state legislatures and made them all unicameral, like Nebraska's.

So with a vast majority of metrosexuals on the government teat, the ruralsexuals in UT are on hind teat if on a teat at all. Same for CA's rural counties and of course NE's that are whipsawed by Lincoln and Omaha till Beatrice, NE might as well not be represented in the state crapitol whatsoever!!!
