I wanted to say to him, “Jesse, you don’t listen to ‘both sides’ of an argument to reach a conclusion; you look at the facts.” Two people or parties can have vastly different opinions on a subject and both be wrong.
This is the “bi-partisan”/compromise mentality that got us Obama, as well as a lot of bad legislation.
That is why I hate white board brainstorming that says there are no bad ideas. Hell yes there are and to entertain them is a seriously stupid waste of time.
