It is possible to have various categories of evaluations of people other that the two classifications that seem popular on discussion websites.
When we limit our evaluations of people to either (1) saviour d’ jour or (2) dead to me, we truncate our view of human nature and the variety of the makeup of the typical complex individual. Levin and the others see aspects of Rubio that they appreciate and thereby have found a category other than 1 or 2 to place Senator Rubio within pending a more lenghty exposure to the end results of this and other matters.
I don’t think opposition to an obviously bad piece of legislation requires an early limitation of categories of classification of one proponent of the shoddy deal. You voice reasoned objections, persuaade sensible people to rise up and defeat it.
Assasination of the character or soundness of an otherwise allied individual is the stuff of Alinsky. Sound conservative minds don’t rely upon such tripe.
I see your point...but this isn’t just any bill. This bill will absolutely change the course of this nation. It is too big to not be fully committed one way or the other in doing what it takes to stop it.
All I’m asking is that Levin treat Rubio the same way he is treating Paul Ryan. I think that’s fair given Rubio is the face of this bill.
