What “law” did Snowden break?

Good question about which “law” he may have broken - more likely the doctrine that goes with a job that requires a security clearance. One must sing a non-disclosure agreement that leaves on open to prosecution if the non-disclosure is abrogated. NSA undoubtedly broke laws, but those in politics claim that while it may be construed as illegal, it also might not be termed “criminal. Go figure. I still maintain he did us a service.
