Every now and then Maher accidentally 'gets it'... this is one of those times.
I guarantee this is a result of Maher being the executive producer for the VICE Magazine shows on HBO. VICE has a long history of going into nasty places to get the story. I would bet my bank account that Maher has been informed by the guys at VICE that the FSA would cut their heads off if they tried to film. You have to see everything through a Hollywood prism to understand this prick.
