They aren’t mutually exclusive factors. The family situation only feeds into the “we’re all one big happy global family” illusion. Some of these globalist people really aren’t malevolent so much as disconnected from middle class realities and naive about the long-term consequences.

I understand perfectly. They are social architects who firmly believe they know better than we, what is best for the masses. The bushes are the very same mentality as, for example, the british parliament.

But in the final analysis every one of them knows they have the money and the resources to protect themselves in case the experiment goes south. They're not malevolent as much as they are reckless. And the working class American citizen is the one who pays the price.
