I want to like Jeb Bush. I believe he understands "family values." He strikes me as a decent person, though I wish he had done more to prevent the unspeakable, unthinkable travesty of the courts ordering that Terri Schiavo be starved to death.

In his argument on immigrant fertility, as quoted above, he seems to argue that everything good about immigrants is exactly everything that has been bred out of the American people over the past 50 years by social engineering. To propose to reinvigorate the population while ignoring the cause of the injury seems to be a plan to transfuse blood into a patient with a cut throat.

He’s making national decisions based on his own experience and blind to the facts. That’s the reason I finally signed up because of the Terri fiasco and he, as governor, was a chump! If he had any deep seated values - he would have been 100 times more aggressive. He wanted to just get along and not start a raucous against the big boys.

He’s no patriot - just a wet noodle going through life under the radar until he grows up and it never happened. Now it’s his turn - another wet noodle for the GOP, to follow romney, mc cain and dole. Not surprised dole was chosen to represent viagra.
