IMF urges repeal of 'ill-designed' U.S. fiscal cuts

The International Monetary Fund on Friday urged the United States to repeal sweeping federal budget cuts that will be a severe drag on economic growth this year.

"The deficit reduction in 2013 has been excessively rapid and ill-designed," the IMF said. "These cuts should be replaced with a back-loaded mix of entitlement savings and new revenues, along the lines of the (U.S.) administration's budget proposal."

The IMF warned the sequester cuts to education, science and infrastructure spending could reduce U.S. potential growth in the medium-term.

Economists believe the expiration of payroll tax cuts and the increase in taxes on richer Americans in January are also holding back America's recovery from the 2007-09 recession.

The next cuts should be the money the US gives to the IMF. That bunch of leeches, along with the UN, should not get another taxpayer dollar after propping up rich crooks for the last 70 years.

Back-loaded? That means postponed to the year 2525. I would gladly pay you Tuesday next century for a hamburger today.

To the IMF parasites: Clean up your own fouled nest before suggesting what we should do.

Thomas Jefferson said in a letter to John Taylor in 1816, “And I sincerely believe, with you, that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.”

Dear IMF, please stop telling USA how to spend or not spend its money. All stop, complete stop, no more foolish information.

Much better to keep pushing the cliff higher by giving the impression of growth while extending the disaster out and ensuring it maximizes the pain when it does come.

The IMF is internationally recognized as being controlled by the US: the US Govt., the Fed., and the too-big-to fail US Mega Banks. They are motivated currently by the need to prop up bond markets and other debt that is being recognized as being worthless or worth far less than coupon levels.

They should, therefore, be soundly ignored.
