Seriously, back a few years ago, before congressional elections, congress began the big promise of a border fence to gain support for re-election. They even passed legislation to begin building I believe it was 750 miles of fence along the border with Messy-co.
After the election was in the history books, they voted NOT to appropriate the full amount to complete the fence.
Americans have such short attention spans. In 1984 (no, not the movie), a democrat controlled congress promised to secure the border and enforce immigration law in return for Ronald Reagan's signature on an amnesty plan for approx. one million illegals.
They lied. Neither happened. Here we are two and a half decades later facing the same ol same old.
