I suspect that the next time any weapons are used against Israel will be the last time whoever uses them against Israel will use them against anyone.
Ever.
The Rabin generation is over with and the next generation is under no illusions that there ever is going to be a peace with Israel.
That leaves very few options on the table.
There is a difference between the use of large high impact, wide destruction type weapons and a consistent use of smaller terrorist type tactics of weapons that may ultimately been provided by the US.
While the resolve of Israel’s may have improved, a hard response will be seen by the world as heavy-handed and unfair etc...
