The Pope didn't allow Pelosi anything except an audience and we don't know all that was discussed there. The Roman Catholic church is a bulwark against abortion, homosexual marriage, and a range of other sins and crimes. For the most part, it stands alone with a vast majority of major religions caving into these outrageous evils.

Uh, hate to break it to you, but late-term abortion is about as outrageous and evil that can possibly exist. And your utter dismissal of the morality of every other faith in the world is forgivable, in the the way ignorant little boys are forgivable who pull their eyes sideways and make buck teeth at the Chinese. Except that you're not a little boy, so I guess you're not so forgivable.

If you are so concerned about Pelosi why don't you write to the bishop of her home parish -- where the real authority lies regarding her continued partaking of the sacraments.

Try to keep up - I'm not concerned with Pelosi. I'm just acknowledging that the Pope's accepting her for the sacrament of communion is a clear acceptance on her publicly declared position that late-term abortion is a sacred part of the Catholic faith. YOU people seem concerned about that, while refusing to even acknowledge that you are at odds with your own Pope - something fairly serious since the Pope seems to be fairly important in distinguishing Catholics from Protestants, eh? And I just love how you do that government pass-the-buck thing at the drop of a hat, shifting the blame from the pope to the Bishop. Hey, how about going down to the priest level, or even yet, a layperson communion giver-outer who got confused somehow? After all, anything will do. It's only a sacrament, after all.

Of course, most of us would like to see her removed from the Church for her publicly stated positions, but going after people here on Free Republic rather than castigating those responsible for abortion and other immoral outrages is a waste of bandwidth and mostly counterproductive.

LOL, pointing out your hypocrisy is "going after" you and a waste of bandwidth and counterproductive? WHO, exactly, is responsible for late-term abortion? What would happen if the Pope castigated Pelosi for her stand, and denied her communion? Tell me - WHAT? What if the Pope excommunicated any priest who gave her communion? You don't think that would have an absolutely gigantic effect on the issue? Even better, how do you think that the extreme immorality of this issue doesn't require a papal stand?

Like I said, think whatever you want. But your arrogance is tiresome - there is a clear and direct problem with the Pope's silence in the face of Pelosi's absolutely extreme rape of this entire issue, straight in everyone's face, and her ability to openly claim her position is actually a teaching of the Catholic Church. What could be worse? Oh, let's see - how about no less that the POPE remaining silent.

Bah. You have no ground to stand on. If you stand against Pelosi, you stand against the Pope. And in that case, how are you Catholic - except, perhaps, that the Catholic Church allows you to live such hypocrisy as long as it supports the Pope's needs? And you think this is MY accusation? Look to Pelosi! She's GLOATING over this! So let's be clear that that's what it really means to be Catholic - just obey orders, no matter what they are. Just like liberals, they only get annoyed when you point out their hypocrisy, because to them the only point is obedience - not issues. And certainly not hypocrisy - what a tiresome bore that is!

So fine, you're obedient, though ultimately to what, I'm sure I don't know. Just spare me your shrill claims to morality - the stink of the dead baby bodies rises all the way to high heaven. But hey, just go to confession and - zip - no prob.

Listen up troll, no one, least of all you, don't need to reveal the evils of abortion to me. Check out my Freeper page and then go back under your bridge where you obviously came from. And your lame attempts at pinning Pelosi's sinfulness and being a moral reprobate on Pope Frances is just plain off the mark and ignorant -- but you obviously can't step off of your high throne to realize the difference.
Oh, and BTW, don't relate me to "little boy," chump. Get lost.
