Sarah Palin to Rejoin Fox News Channel
The Wall Street Journal ^ | June 13, 2013 | Nathalie Tadena

Ms. Palin became a national celebrity after her unsuccessful 2008 vice presidential turned into a media career as a paid Fox News contributor from January 2010 to January of this year. The Wall Street Journal reported in January that Ms. Palin wouldn't be renewing her contract with the cable news networking, citing a person familiar with the matter.

"I've had several conversations with Governor Palin in the past few weeks about her rejoining Fox News as a contributor," Mr. Ailes said Thursday. "I have great confidence in her and am pleased that she will once again add her commentary to our programming."

Ms. Palin will appear on Fox News Channel's daytime and primetime programming, starting with Fox & Friends on Monday. She will also contribute to Fox Business Network.....

Only Republicans in diehard GOP districts want to be seen anywhere near Palin. Reagan was the Teflon president, whereas Palin is the Velcro pol - everything the press slings in her direction sticks.

What blatant lying.

Even as we waste the time to post names and races at you, you just make up that incredible whopper.

By the way, your whopper mirrors the media statements in race after race where the Palin candidate cleaned up after the press telling us how her endorsee is now doomed.

We are still waiting for how you are going to explain why Governor Palin is not the most effective endorser in history.

I think first you have to explain why she is the most effective endorser in history. The way it works is that you make an assertion, then back it up with facts. How does Palin compare with other endorsers? I offered a few examples merely to point out that she endorsed a lot of Republicans who would have been elected anyway. Again, a lot of her endorsements affect GOP primaries but not general election outcomes.

We have already listed a tiny percentage of her great victories which beats your people, you have done nothing.

It is your turn to start listing the endorsements of whoever the people are that you have in mind, if we need more, then we will go back to her list of 80 or so, and get them.

Of for heaven sakes, stop idolizing her like she’s the goddess Athena. She’s a mere mortal, a nice woman, and does well in certain political arenas, but you’ve put her on a pedestal 20 feet high. Come back down to earth and let your fantasy woman be a human being like the rest of us. Geez, get grounded and take your daydreams of Sarah to bed with you at night rather than inflict them on the rest of us.

The way it works with assertions like this is that you list the names of the people she's endorsed who have won, the political leanings of the district, as well as the names of those she's endorsed who have lost, and then compare it with other pols who have made similar endorsements. For instance, how does she compare with FDR, JFK and Reagan? Big claims require big evidence. You've made the claim without supplying the evidence.

Before we can make any sense of your ravings, we have to have some idea of what in the world you are raving about.

Do you have anything specific that you disagree with?

No, the way this works is that I have already established her as the top endorser, your merely saying FDR, Reagan and JFK, doesn’t do anything, it is typical of you to not say anything, just troll some more.

So far, you have offered nothing, just troll posts wasting time.

But you haven't proven it. Saying something and proving it are different things.

Yes, I have established her 80 or so endorsements and her effectiveness, as making her the best endorser in history, you haven’t even shown anyone who has even made 80 endorsements much less of them having such a personal effect on the races.

We have listed a number of her victories, you haven’t done anything, do some research and find your giant killer.

So far, Palin is at the top of the list.

Yes, I have established her 80 or so endorsements and her effectiveness,

But you haven't. I don't see a list of names, and I don't see a list of other high profile politicians with which a comparison can be made. Look - I don't blame you for not doing the work - it would take at least at least a month's worth of full-time work, if not several months. You'd need to pore over microfiche at the local library and go through local newspapers from Podunkville. These United States have been around for about 250 years. To prove that Palin is the number 1 endorser is too big a project for someone not being paid a salary to verify this assertion. I'm not merely saying that you haven't proved it - I'm saying it isn't within your ability to prove it without an unreasonable amount of effort.

LOL, you need to read the posts that we are making to you on this thread to see the names that we have been listing, if we need more, we’ll post them.

Right now you want to compare her to JFK, FDR, and Reagan, but you won’t post the information that shows them beating her.

By the way, now I see that she made 92 endorsements in 2010 alone, and 2010 was an historical victory for republicans.

You need to back up your challenge.

Hillary a grandmother? She was barely a mother. She only had one kid, never gave lonely Chelsea anyone to play with, adopted or otherwise. Small family also makes fewer chances for grandchildren.

As a “mother,” feminist Hillary left her daughter behind every day and worked as an attorney at a big Little Rock firm — even though her husband could afford to take care of the family. She famously told the press during the 1992 campaign that she did not want to “stay home and bake cookies.” As if that was all that mothers did.

Oh, I just get a kick out of how I’ve been assured for five years by thousands of pundits, politicians, bloggers, reporters, TV and movie stars and even the White House that Gov. Sarah Palin was a non-entity, a has-been, washed-up, a loser, a quitter, an idiot, too conservative, Caribou Barbie and a chillbilly.

I worked for President Reagan and she’s the closest thing I’ve seen since he left the scene.

I'd love to be in the break room at the New York Times, MSNBC or Washington Post the day she's inaugurated.

I worked for President Reagan and she’s the closest thing I’ve seen since he left the scene.

Reagan was a political phenom. During his 2 terms, downticket Dems ran campaign ads showing themselves making nice with him. Palin is great on the issues, but has nothing like Reagan's political charisma or skill. She has Republicans asking her not to endorse them. Democrats feature her as a bogeyman.

I like her positions. I just don't think she's got the political chops to get the overall electorate behind the GOP the way Reagan did. My great fear is that we'll nominate her in 2016 and experience a Barry Goldwater-style blowout defeat, which gave LBJ the opportunity to impose the Great Society programs that suck huge sums of money from taxpayers today. Note that Kennedy's successful effort in 1965 in crafting legislation to import a new electorate from Latin America, Asia and Africa had its roots in Goldwater's downticket drag on the GOP. The genesis of the GOP's recent political setbacks lies in that 1965 legislation.
