I pay $5000 a year for my wife and me now. That’s $2500 a piece. My employer pays about another $2000 per year towards health insurance premiums. So that’s about $7 grand a year for the 2 of us and that is WAY over 10% of my income, after tax or otherwise.
Hubby and I have been paying 10% of our income for health insurance since they started talking about Obamacare. Our rates immediately started going up. Now it is over 10%, almost 13%.
Congress can kiss my behind.
