John Boehner was right out of the blocks calling Edward Snowden a "traitor". I'm not aware of Boehner ever using the "T" word before. What or whom did Snowden betray? Arguably, Snowden did not betray American. Who did he betray and this is very enlightening to understanding Boehner?

Snowden betrayed the Federal Government. He betrayed the bureaucracy, he betrayed Federal POWER. Boehner identifies with the Federal Government. He doesn't stand for the Constitution. He doesn't represent the American People.

Now, Obama betrayed the American People and the Constitution on a daily basis. But Obama is not a traitor by Boehner's lights. Obama has ignored court orders. Obama has appointed officials illegally. Obama has legislated with the Dream Act. Obama betrayed his own ambassador and Americans in Benghazi.

To Boehner, NONE of this is treason. Why not? Understand that and you understand Boehner and understand why Boehner must be fired.
