I am a born again Christian and was taught to love all of Gods children..I was born again an John Osteen was the pastor of the old Lakewood Church he was the one who laded hands on me and prayed and yes knew him and his wife Dody His son Joel and the bothers and sisters were children when I first met him..That is where my eyes were opened to the good and evil around us.. I do not judge people for what church they might go to I leave that to God..
Joel Osteen is what the rest of the Christian world call a “prosperity preacher”. I seldom have heard him utter the name of Jesus. It’s all how good your life can be, God wants you to be successful stuff which on it’s face isn’t terrible but there is MUCH MUCH more to faith and service to God than that.
I respectfully submit that Osteen and others like him are a tad reckless.
It is obvious you know little to nothing of mormonism.
mormonism is not Christianity.
Book of Mormon
The book of Mormon is more correct than the Bible, (History of the Church, 4:461)
There are many gods, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 163).
And they (the Gods) said: Let there be light: and there was light, (Book of Abraham 4:3).
God is married to his goddess wife and has spirit children, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 516).
If it had not been for Joseph Smith and the restoration, there would be no salvation. There is no salvation [the context is the full gospel including exaltation to Godhood] outside the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 670)
mormonism is not Christianity.
