Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me; fool me hundreds of times, is there any shame left?

People continuing to support the GOP deserve what they get.

Social Conservatives would do much better in their own party than wasting their conservative votes in the GOP

“Court” social conservatives? That makes it sound like they need to lie.
Either these leaders are social conservatives or they aren’t.

This is plain weird.

I'm saving myself for a pro America, pro family, pro Constitution, conservative suitor. I will have to pass on GOP. I used to date another named GOP but it was a very one sided relationship. I had to pay for everything, never got to pick our outings, was emotionally abused, treated poorly and then told that I was racist, homophobic, woman hating knuckle dragger. Odd that was never an issue when GOP wanted money, or my time or all the million of other things. So I'm done.

I am not sure what my plans are now. BTW - GOP is driving by my house, watching me, following me, hell I think GOP might even have my phone and house bugged. I am getting a little worried that GOP intends to do me harm but yet GOP wants my time and money again. Weird. I am beginning to think GOP is either insane, unstable or down right a spiteful DEM in GOP clothing.

Ralph Reed has been in the suck em in to the RINO fold business for a long time.

There are suckers born every minute including very religious ones God Bless Them.

As with all issues conservative the GOP-E blows smoke, makes tough speeches and passes symbolic legislation that gets shot down in federal courts.

They also gradually cave to the left on issues like gay marriage as an example.

GOP leaders court social conservatives
***Yeah, right. And the bear is catholic, and the pope poops in the woods, and the fireman’s house burns down every Tuesday due to Lightning.

I think the correct word is “stalk” not “court”.

The social issues is the only thing that separates the Republican party from all the others.

Remove the plank on social issues and the Republican party becomes the Liberaltarian party that can't get elected to anything anywhere.

Let the Demonrats be the party of queers, commies, and race baiting poverty pimps. Target them as exactly that and don't allow any Demonrat to claim to be anything but one or more of those three wings of the party.

Interesting headline, that.If Republican leaders have to “court” social conservatives then they are outside of social conservatism. If social/economic conservatives i.e. real Conservatives, do not shed the Republican Party very soon and become a new party then conservatism has no future in America.
