The domestic spying needs to stop. Anyone that might have been for it before can see that they have abused it. No longer a theoretical abstract discussion.
We need to go back to classic surveillance authorized by a court that is focused on specific targets. They get a warrant / court order and they search the target’s house, communications, whatever. This is old as dirt and how it should work. If feds suspect radicals associated with a mosque or located in an area they should identify these individuals and go through the legal process.

I think we hold similar views though will add this. Once upon a time there was something called profiling. Profiling is currently a prohibited practice unless one is a Jew, Christian, former Military, Tea Party Member, posts the truth or a truth spooks disagree with, or is an average citizen. The enemies have an enormous amount of control over law enforcement and continue to gain ground in their efforts to dictate to law enforcement aided and abetted by the policy makers in D.C. from both sides of the aisle.
