Years ago a young pastor at my church tried out for the Patriots. One night a coach came in and found him reading his Bible in bed. The coach was immediately concerned about the pastor’s mental health. It seems a young man reading his Bible is a cause for concern in Boston. I will be praying for Tebow, he is going to be subject to a lot of ridicule in Boston.
My gym coach in high-school played college ball and was cut by the Boston Patriots in their inaugural 1960 training camp.
He used to have a bumper sticker on the wall down that little cubbyhole where the gym teachers drank coffee on their breaks.
