Ha. Try shutting down my swamp cooler dipwads. It ain’t connected to no thermostat.
We have 2 swamp coolers NOT on thermostats and if they ever do this I will have individual air conditioners put in each room. There are pretty nice systems for that now. We could replace our central unit now anyway because of age. This would be my incentive.
