When women start doing what men have traditionally done, yours is a civilization of the setting sun. This is brought to mind when pondering a recent Pew Research Center study showing that women are now the primary or sole breadwinners in 40 percent of American households. You may have heard the story -- it created quite a stir on Fox News, with Greta Van Susteren and Megyn Kelly (who became quite hysterical) taking exception to male colleagues' warnings about the development's sociological implications. But if these two ladies, and the other critics, had reacted rationally and not emotionally, they would realize what is obvious:

Likewise, it was a sign of crisis when women had to assume men's roles in the factories during WWII, but the idea was that the crisis would end and normalcy resume. But today we are in perpetual war -- culture war -- in a never-ending crisis in which we fight ourselves and confuse losses with gains. No, the intersex wage gap isn't a bad thing, and it isn't good when it starts to close. The size of that gap correlates with the health of the nuclear family; the larger it is, the greater men's ability to support their families and women's opportunity to stay at home with the children. The reason women are becoming bigger bread winners is that they are more likely than men to enter contests where the prize is bread.
Well, I don’t know for sure what has caused the problem, but, I just know I have never seen, or thought I’d ever see, men be so willing to allow woman to support them. They’re so lazy you can’t beg, bribe or beat them into working. They want to do nothing but have a good time. I’m fifty eight, when I was a child even the drunkards would work and support their families. Men, or should I say males, today don’t think they should have to do anything. Everything has become the responsibility of the woman in the home. I believe it started with child labor laws and women giving away their bodies. I really think children should have the work ethic instilled at a young age. With the labor laws the way they are today, by the time it’s legal for people to start a job, they don’t want to work.
Men don’t need to have a job or money to get a women anymore so why should they work? I have young women who tell me how bad their boyfriends treat them. They get upset when I tell them the question isn’t why doesn’t he treat you better, it’s why should he? You’ve put no value on yourself, why whould he?
That’s different and you know it.
If the husband is still serving, then his pay is still coming so that situation doesn’t apply. Wounded and disabled might apply since that pay rate is much less than duty pay. In the case of death, then the woman would become the primary provider. These cases are very small in a statistical sense even though they have a huge impact in those specific circumstance.
How do crafty Fabians ensure that the populace depend on the state from cradle to grave? Destroy the traditional family structure over time and replace it with “anything goes”.
Women working full time while “guys” work part time, sporadically, seasonally or claim disability is becoming more common - and the men have far less shame about it.

Depends on how you define men doing better. We have a couple of nephews on my wife’s side who, even though they are earning decent incomes, have wives who are referred to as “Sugar Mommas” because they earn much more. If doing better means living large on your wife’s income then they are indeed doing better. As for myself I ain’t doin’ so well in that respect.
It’s my opinion .. it’s not set in cement.

Good intel and this article refutes that statement partially. The issue with liberals is definitions. What do they mean ‘when women do better’?
Husbands not having a clue is likely the cause of the problem. Let’s not confuse the facts. Do you have a source for your contention?
Name a television show in which the dad was a real man? I can’t think of one in the last 25 years. Manhood’s been under seige for generations. Why don’t we have cowboy epics? Because we’ve lost our cowboy ethics.
As to the percentages of men who want “all of that”, well that depends on the degree of immorality they personally feel most comfortable with, right?
Yes. But it's also true that men will do what women let them get away with.
Look at our current culture of loose women who accept "men" as boyfriends who are jobless, game all day and act like 12 year olds.
If women demanded higher standards they'd get them.
It’s “unconsionable” and I have a “diseased worldview” because I think the rise in the numbers of female breadwinners is directly related to the decline of male morallity!
Keep flipping frantically through your putrid porn sites for “entertainment”, and continue blaming it on “bad women” who tempted you into looking at it!
In a few more years, you too can talk yourself into thinking forcible rape or enjoying child porn is just average normal male behavior!

Of the few I do, those that immediately comes to mind are “Seventh Heaven”, which has now started an entire series rerun, “Little House on the Prairie” and “House” (before it got wierd” .
I do enjoy “The Big Bang Theory” and Sheldon is my favorite character!
Of the dads portrayed, I doubt you can find the standards of the ones I mentioned lacking in manliness.
God knows that my first love was a cowboy!
But girls are attracted to bad boys.
Just like boys are attracted to bad girls.
But most of us grow up.....
