ACLU cherishes nothing. Read carefully ~ they did not say that anyone broke the law but rather that Congress exceeded its authority. Take that as a guide to your thoughts here ~ they are resolutely unconcerned with law breaking ~ they are, as Spiro Agnew so aptly described them, the criminals lobby!

And if you ask congress and the senate, they would probably agree. Because the “law” in their mind is whatever they agree it is. Screw the Constitution.

Sad to say, that’s what we’re facing. Which is why I’m glad this got exposed, no matter who did it and why.

It is a huge step toward totalitarianism, and it is unacceptable.
