My guess is that this would be struck down by FL courts as an unreasonable search, and forbidden from that day forward.

If so, you'd have to think someone, group, ACLU, etc., would file suit quickly.

I think ACLU would be conflicted for a while...and then come down squarely on the side of rendering these stops forbidden.

My liberal state's courts nixed similar behavior among LEO agencies more than a decade ago.
