What the hell has happened to this man to turn him into a La Raza-style traitor. He has NO IDEA how much he is despised right now. He and his fellow propagandist Paul Ryan!

Maybe its just me, and maybe I’ll be called racist and I really don’t care anymore, but it sure seems like this is a situation where the simplest explanation is closest to the truth.

Blacks look out for other blacks no matter what. Yes, there may be an exception or two (E.g. Allen West), but in general that’s what happens. Latinos look out for Latinos, again obvious exceptions like Ted Cruz but in general that’s what happens. The only group that doesn’t look out for their own is stupid white people who have been guilt ridden into not doing so. Those on the left are openly self hating, and the ones on the right in large part are too cowardly to call a spade a spade (Glenn Beck immediately comes to mind. I normally love the guy but he’s been wallowing in MLK worship lately).

So, when a Black president and black AG don’t prosecute a black panther blocking a polling place, we look here and there for PC explanations because no one dares speak what it really is. They are taking care of their own. When Latinos, by Golly just wont vote for the GOP, then we get speeches on outreach to the Latino community (with wonder bread white analysts trying to pronounce “LATINO” with proper accent) and we just don’t get that they are looking out for their own.

What do we do once we realize that this isn’t a matter of convincing anyone? What if the truth is they fully understand our positions, but we just don’t get theirs...they don’t want to be convinced or unity? If the truth is this is about payback for everything from the US annexation of California to Slavery to the fact that someone couldn’t sit at a lunch counter to Pancho Villa. Would we have the courage to say so, or would we sit mush-mouthed because we’re afraid of being called a name? I wonder.
