This is troubling on another level. Rubio did not need to do this. He could have easily said Security comes first, then legalization and hinged it on some phony measure that never gets implemented. It would have been easy for him to play the middle ground.
So what troubles me is the brazenness. He apparently wanted to stick it in our faces. The leftist dems and RINOs have less compunction these days to hide where they are coming from. That so-called leftist comfort level is what scares me. ObamaCare, legalization of illegals. What’s next?

I think a few things are going on here.
1)This is an aggressive turd in the punch bowl trial balloon to measure push back to amnesty.
2) If the bill fails he has this statement on recond in Spanish for his future campaign ads.
3)Rubio is aggressively trying to shed his Tea Party label and is courting Obama voting Hispanics to replace conservatives in his power base.
It’s all driven by craven political calculations by Rubio. The man is no patriot, that is for sure.
Quite the contrary. He wanted to make hay with the Spanish-speaking audience...and sneak it by us.
That's not brazen, that's sly, sneaky and duplicitous.
With every action, Rubio's electoral stock is shrinking.
