WASHINGTON Two years into a civil war that shows no signs of ending, the Obama administration is considering resettling refugees who have fled Syria, part of an international effort that could bring thousands of Syrians to American cities and towns.
A resettlement plan under discussion in Washington and other capitals is aimed at relieving pressure on Middle Eastern countries straining to support 1.6 million refugees, as well as assisting hard-hit Syrian families.
The State Department is "ready to consider the idea," an official from the department said, if the administration receives a formal request from the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees, which is the usual procedure...
"Americans have a long tradition of welcoming refugees," said Daryl Grisgraber, a Washington-based Middle East specialist at Refugees International, which provides advocacy and services for refugees. "They'll respond here, too."

Visit Minneapolis a.k.a New Mogadishu to see how the influx of Muslim Somali “refuges” has turned the place into a mirror of the third world. The Somalis of course are not integrating into western society and demand and are getting special treatment in deference to their religion. Young Somalis from Minneapolis have already been recruited and trained by Islamist militants back in Somalia and have even been killed in suicide bombings there. I hardly think we need to make this mistake again with Syrian refugees. Isn't there some Muslim country that would take them???

Libtards who choose not to or are unable to think, become concrete bound mentalities who are unable to process cause and effect, and so are unable to learn from their mistakes. They will never be able to recognize how harmful it is to allow even more mohammedans to come here.

Way back in the WWI period the US admitted a large number of Syrian Christian refugees. They were successfully assimilated. We can probably do that with the rest of the Christians.
I’ve known some of the descendents of these people, BIGGEST DAMN libs, I’ve ever know and the word tolerant only works in their direction.
So no I’m not in favor of any more immigration. It may seem cruel but a lifetime of experience leads me to that conclusion.

If Washington takes them in they damn well better be housed in Washington's upscale DC zip codes... Most of us would be willing to have our taxes raised to make sure these folks permanently live among those who wanted them here...
