Most voters oppose the U.S. governments secret collection of the phone records of millions of Americans and think the feds are spying too much on U.S. citizens these days. Just 26% of Likely U.S. Voters favor the governments secret collecting of these phone records for national security purposes regardless of whether there is any suspicion of wrongdoing. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 59% are opposed to the practice. Fifteen percent (15%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

59% and the rest are brain dead.
According to Rasmussen's poll, what should President Romney do about this mess?
The 26% are the ones who will be flagging down the bus to the FEMA camp. Wait for meeeee!!!! :-)
Sounds like the same percentage who want ObummerCare repealed. As long as O has his crazy 30%, he doesn’t care.

I think you missed the election. LOL
Honestly, I think you propose the United States adopt all the intrusive police state regulation's and censorship that currently exists in Communist China or North Korea and 20%-25% of the population would shrug and see absolutely no problem with it.
Glad I am in the 59%.
Talk about the time not to trust the government.
That’s it?!
That’s what’s wrong with country. 100% should care but only half of us do.
My friend went up to Pennsylvania this weekend. The women had the “I have nothing to hide” on the NSA Spying. They are not smart enough to vote.
lolol
Lets see. 59% oppose, 15% undecided, and 26% have no problem. Maybe the 26% who use Obama Phones are exempt.
the 26% in favour are the type who turned in family and neighbours to the nazi’s. They are also the ones who would be first in line for volunteering their kids up for the good of the “Obama citizen army”....they are the sheep and blindly follow what they are told and do nothing for themselves....they are the true parasites.
The gub’mnt REQUIRES phone companies to collect those records.
FYI Indiana’s AG has filed suit against the use of 0-fones in the last election. Have not been able to find details, but know there are laws against using government property to promote candidates
Women in general seem to be easily bamboozeled. Throw some emotion their way and they bite on almost anything, hook, line, and sinker.
Michelle Bachman, Bill Kristol, Karl Rove, and Mike Gallagher are in the 30%.
The “I have nothing to hide” women you mentioned in your post....
I wonder if they’d be OK with it if a police officer stopped them while they were walking down the street and wanted to conduct a random strip search on their persons. If they have nothing to hide, they shouldn’t mind getting undressed, according to their “logic.”
How about if a group of police officers knocked on their door and wanted to thoroughly search their house and all their possessions at random, looking for anything illegal?
Would they be OK with that?
That’s the line of progression from this “I’ve got nothing to hide” BS mentality. It grows exponentially.
We “may have nothing to hide,” but we’ve got plenty to preserve.....privacy, dignity, liberty, freedom, constitutional and inalienable rights, etc.
Excellent comment. I have a neighbor like that. Obama lover. She makes sure everyone in the complex obeys the rules. To the letter. She turns in people to the management for every imaginary "violation," and is considered TOXIC by everyone in the place. She'd surely go along with concentration camps for "undesirables." She was volunteering at local hospital gift shop and they asked her to leave because none of the other workers could stand her vastly superior and extremely nasty attitude. When her daughter comes over they do nothing but shout--on the sidewalks, in the driveway, all over the place. Poor young woman has no life, how could she growing up with that monster who would turn her in to the nazis if she could.
Forgot to mention, she was collecting unemployment from two states. Illegal.
