I assume you refer to your highly erudite and scholarly comment about the allegedly bogus stat re. Turks (in a document FILLED with other stats).

The “aggedly bogus” statistic was not the result of a typo, like someone meant 17% but they printed 70%.
The text of the original article was changed from something about reading habits (most people don’t read books anymore) into a general indictment of the intellectual capability of an entire country (70% of Turks have never read a single book in their life).
If the author of the article did that, then you don’t have to be a serious pedant to figure out that he is a kook, and a lying one at that. If on the other hand you made the change ...
