Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon (Likud) on Sunday stuck to his guns and defended statements he’d made to The Times of Israel last week in which he claimed that most of those in the coalition are opposed to a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“Oy vey! Is it such a criminal offense to oppose a two-state solution?” he said in an interview with Army Radio.

Coalition members voiced outrage Sunday at Danon’s statements, while opposition MKs called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to remove the deputy defense minister from his post.

Labor Party MK Nahman Shai told Israel Radio that if Danon had erred in his assessment of the government’s intentions then the prime minister must immediately dismiss him, and advance the peace process.

“The prime minister must immediately relieve Danny Danon of his duties because of the grave damage his words inflicted on US Secretary of State John Kerry’s efforts to revive peace negotiations,” said MK Isaac Herzog (Labor), a former welfare minister, on Saturday.

Justice minister and chief negotiator Tzipi Livni (Hatnua) said Danon’s statements against the two-state solution “harmed the peace process.”

If this is satire, it is pretty good. If it is not, then good for Danny Danon! His elevator obviously goes to the top floor, unlike those of the two-staters. Who with a lick of sense would want full Palestinian statehood, when some of the Palestinians keep firing rockets into Israel?

To paraphrase Netanyahu, if the Arabs disarmed, there would be no war; if the Israelis disarmed, there would be no Israel.

“Oy vey” is Yiddish. The corresponding expression in Hebrew is “oy-va-voy.”

The Arabs instead of coming to the table to negotiate do two stupid things. They set preconditions, really their final position, which no Israeli government will approve. And then they go running off to the Reichstag of New York, excuse me, the UN, pushing their final position there. That is grandstanding. They are not serious so why should Israel be serious? The only person interested in this topic at present is Kerry since nothing else is happening elsewhere in the world as say in Syria so he has time on his hands.

Oslo is officially dead. Bibi can’t come out and say it, but it is. Bibi knows the Obama 2nd term has collapsed and Obama can’t afford to put an iota of pressure on Israel. He also knows Kerry is as weak as they come. Don’t expect a single concession. The only wildcard: the egoist Yair Lapid.

There is already a 58 state solution (57 Islamicist states and little old Israel).

Those that keep trying to steal any more of tiny Israel’s inheritance can go stick their heads in a toilet.

Oslo technically died two weeks after it was signed in 1993. After the big celebrations in Washington and Jerusalem, (the PLO Palastinians were not dancing in the streets) everyone was on a high.

Then, Yassir Arafart paid a visit to Nelson Mandela (yes, the African National Congress PLO supporter) and he said that there must be a “Jihad”.

Now, Bill Clinton, William Christopher, Dennis Ross, Sandy Berger, William Cohen, Yizhak Rabin, Shimon (the King Ego) Peres and a host of other Oslo kingpins all perked up their ears and were astounded and surprised. They asked Arafart, “what did you say, what did you mean, how can that be”????? You just signed an historic document on the White House lawn, how can you call for Jihad now???

Well, the clever, scumbag, young boy molester Arafart said that we, in the West did not understand the nuances of the Arabic concept of Jihad. He explained further, “what I meant ladies and gentlewomen was that we need a Jihad for peace!! Ah-ha!! The Western leaders said in a collective sigh. Whew! For a minute there we thought you were still clinging to a Jihad against the Jews. wow, thanks for clearing that up...

So you see, to him it was a scrap of paper worth absolutely nothing. If Arafart could get some more tangible assets (Israeli withdrawals from specified cities and areas) for empty promises, then great. Slowly but surely we will drive the Jews into the sea but we will do it with false agreements and mixing of words Lie a jihad for peace.

Oslo was stillborn and the PLO never really made the full conversion from terror organization PLO to semi-autonomous pre-state Palestinian Authority PA, (which it is still called till now).

The Israelis and Americans WANTED so much to believe that the PLO converted itself to PA but it NEVER happened. we live with the foolish fallout to this very day and now, we call Abu MAzen, Arafart’’ successor, a...”moderate” just like we called Arafart’s PLO, a moderate group.WHAT LIES.
