NOTE WELL CONGRESSPEOPLE----Eric Holder was asked at a Senate hearing if the DOJ was monitoring phones of members of Congress. Holder obfuscated--- saying that he'd be glad to answer in the "appropriate forum."
The Senator who asked the question, Kirk (R-Il), responded, "The correct answer would be to say, 'No, we stayed within our lane, and I am assuring you we did not spy on members of Congress.'"
Holder could also have replied that any monitoring of phones in the Capitol could be done only in certain cases--such as evidence of treason---and that the DOJ is compelled to inform members of Congress.
Holder did not do that.
Clearly the DOJ did monitor phones used by members of Congress. If such monitoring hadn't occurred, then Holder could have just said "no."

Would be intersting to have a recorded up or down vote, so we can see which senators and congressmen are in favor of the govt spying on the American people.
MR. MARTIN: ,In terms of the Organizing for America that hes now shifting to become a 501(c)(4).

This also caught my attention. I think the shape-shifting 2008 Obama campaign database it is a potential crime/scandal. It's the gift that keeps on giving,
1) How many permutations has this gone through?
2) How was it used, and how did it progress, once Obama was elected in 2008?
3) What, if any, interface did it have with other databases?
4) Is there a database money flow? i.e., follow the money.
I don't have the time/expertise to prove it, but just using the smell test, Obama's campaign database and its permutations have always stunk to high heaven.
Liz: You may not have answers, but I'd be interested in what questions you would ask. I am not confident I am even asking the right questions.
FWIW: I dug up this article for starters:
