Glad all is in order at The Keep, Gunner.

Bryan and I are in San Antonio and just got back to the hotel after walking to the Alamo and all around the site and back again.

I bought an Alamo sweatshirt. In 90° heat. But it does get very cold in Ohio, and besides, it’s pretty.

The Alamo is not all that small inside, but it was still ‘way too crowded with tourists like us to be somber and ghostly.

We’ll post pictures when we get home, but none of the inside; the use of cameras is not allowed.

I’m glad y’all got to see the Alamo but kind of a bummer it was crowded.

Lizzy objected to being left inside (albeit with access to the screened porch)
and dug herself a hole through the screen and was in the yard when I arrived.

The other two stayed in.

Lizzy is a resourceful cat.

I always feel the spirits of the fallen when I visit the Alamo. Crowds or no crowds.

I felt them along the "Battle Road", between Lexington and Concord as well.
