This drug gave my mother congestive heart failure. I get that she just happened to be one of the small percentage of people who had a negative reaction to this drug. What pissed me off though was that the doctors refused to believe that the drug was the cause of the heart failure and treated us like idiots until she had to take herself off of it to save her life. This was years ago and of course theyve changed their tune in recent years.
There are no exemptions from Murphy's law in medicine. If the diagnosis isn't obvious, and the doc doesn't rule out an adverse drug reaction, get a new doc.
