It’s customary to notify next of kin before releasing the name to news organizations ... the police probably have to call someplace in Egypt or Saudi Arabia and the calls aren’t getting answered ....

I am waiting for an i.d. on the shooter - this is essential to the whole story. As yet, nothing seems to be confirmed about who he was. Also, it is possible there were two people involved.
They have to scrub his existence from the Internet first, in case his stuff there shows that he's something other than a white Tea Party type. This should happen pretty quickly, now that Facebook, AOL and all the other major sites are all government subsidiaries.
